With that said, when fans felt that the confirmed and released DLCs for Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla so far were a little flat, a lot of gamers were understandably left disappointed that this was all that Ubisoft had to offer. Thankfully, at the E3 2021 Ubisoft Forward showcase, Ubisoft confirmed that more Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs are coming.
Are More Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs Coming?
Ubisoft confirmed something that fans had been secretly hoping for on Day 1 of E3 2021 during the Ubisoft Forward showcase. According to Ubisoft, the studio will continue supporting Valhalla in its second year. At the moment, fans can enjoy the Wrath of the Druids DLC, which sees Eivor go to Ireland to take on the cult known as The Children of Danau. Meanwhile, after weeks of speculation and leaks, Ubisoft finally confirmed that the second DLC, Siege of Paris, is going to drop sometime this Summer 2021. Ubisoft claims that the Siege of Paris expansion will bring an all-new storyline to Valhalla, as well as more gear to earn. More details about the Siege of Paris expansion and future Valhalla DLCs were included in the studio’s presentation for the game. One of the more interesting things unveiled by Ubisoft at E3 2021 was Discovery Tour: Viking Age. Discovery Tour: Viking Age is the third installment in the Discover Tour series of add-on content to Assassin’s Creed games. This all started with Discovery Tour: Ancient Egypt for Origins followed by Discovery Tour: Ancient Greece for Odyssey. For non-gamers interested to try out Discovery Tour: Viking Age, the “non-violent interactive learning experience” will be available on the PC via Uplay for $19.99. Of course, what is perhaps the biggest highlight of the latest Ubisoft Forward showcase is Ubisoft confirming that more Valhalla DLCs are coming. Ubisoft says that the studio is now dedicated to supporting Valhalla well after the release of Siege of Paris. This means that more expansive content is coming to Valhalla post Summer 2021. In a way, this confirms the earlier leaks that a third Valhalla DLC was in the works. It is currently unknown if Season Pass holders will also get the future Valhalla DLCs for free.
