The Fastest Cars in GTA Online
1. Cyclone
First up on our list is arguably the fastest car in GTA Online. We say arguably because it’s not as straightforward as it sounds. You see, unlike many other vehicles in GTA Online, the Cycle is an electric hypercar. This means that, just like in real life, this electric car benefits from extremely fast acceleration. In fact, it has the fastest wheel-powered acceleration in the game, bar none. The car can go from 0-60 (mph) in less than two seconds, and the only way to beat this car off the line is to use a vehicle like the Rocket Voltic which is rocket-powered. However, one problem with the Cyclone is that, while it is insanely fast, it’s not exactly maneuverable. The car suffers from low-speed oversteer and high-speed understeer, making its extremely fast acceleration useful only in a handful of scenarios. If you’re looking for the fastest car in a quarter-mile or a half-mile or even a full-mile drag race, the Cyclone is your choice. But, if you were to race it in an actual track, we highly doubt that you’ll come out on top with the Cyclone.
2. Ocelot Pariah
The fastest car in GTA 5 in 2020 remains the Ocelot Pariah. This car has been the go-to choice for sports-class races in Grand Theft Auto Online because of its very high top speed of 136mph, which is a full 4mph higher than the next fastest car, the Pfister 811. Although the Ocelot Pariah can be a lot to handle, especially for beginners, it’s well-worth learning how to tame this beast if you want to be competitive.
3. Dewbauchee Vagner
The Dewbauchee Vagner is not the fastest car in GTA Online in terms of top speed. With a top of speed of just 126.75mph, the Dewbauchee Vagner is nearly 10mph slower than the Ocelot Pariah at its top speed. However, the Dewbauchee Vagner does own the distinction of having the fastest lap time in GTA Online, and there’s a good reason for this. The top speed isn’t half bad, all things considered, and the car accelerates very well. More importantly, the handling is good and so long as you take the time to learn it, you should be able to get the most out of the Dewbauchee Vagner and start enjoying lap times that are close to what the current fastest lap time in GTA Online currently is.

But, at the same time, they’re not the most expensive vehicles either. The Cyclone, for example, can be purchased from Legendary Motorsport for a hefty price tag of almost $1.9 million.
